The process starts with a free, detailed inspection with pictures. We document all of the claimable damage to your property, including the roof, gutters, fencing, windows, siding and doors. Our representative will walk you through the insurance process.

Insurance Claim
If you have storm damage, you file the claim and we are on site with the adjuster to help with documentation and estimates.
The Work
Once the project is approved, materials are ordered, permits are secured if required and the work begins.
Final Inspection
We complete a final inspection to make sure the project meets building code and the work is done to standard.

What to Expect
After you file your claim, your insurance company will schedule an adjuster to inspect the damage. MD Roofing will be on site to help with documentation and cost estimates. We provide estimates in the format insurance companies require, using Xactimate, and we work with public adjuster partners when needed.
Once the claim is approved, materials are ordered, permits are secured if required and the work begins. We document any additional repairs that come up during the project as supplements, and we complete a final inspection when the work is done. Your deductible is your responsibility under your policy, and financing is available.

Do I file the claim or do you?
The property owner files the claim with the insurance company. Our representative will walk you through the process, and we will be on site to help when the adjuster inspects the damage.
What is Xactimate?
Xactimate is the estimating software insurance companies use. We write our estimates in Xactimate so they are in the format your insurance company prefers.
Will filing a claim raise my premium?
It depends on your policy and your insurance company. Your insurance agent can tell you how a weather claim affects your policy.
Will you cover my deductible?
No. Texas law does not allow a contractor to waive or cover your deductible. Financing is available.
